HOW DOES UNITED WAY HELP OUR COMMUNITY?
United Way invests its donations to focus on three community goals: Education, Health & Economic Self-Sufficiency.

TODAY.

Building Block Today

Currently, we screen a multitude of worthy programs based on needs and other imperative criteria to see where your contributions will show the greatest return on your investment, while advancing the common good of our community.

LOOKING AHEAD.

Building Block Future

United Way of the Valley & Greater Utica Area is moving towards a more refined, targeted way of supporting our community. By addressing the underlying causes of the most significant local issues, our goal is to create long-lasting changes that will greatly benefit the community overall. While we are still focusing on essential sources for a good life - education, health and income issues - we will concentrate contributions in a more structured manner to achieve more focused results.

TOGETHER.
We have a diverse group of our community's biggest thinkers and greatest leaders included in this evolution. Their commitment, coupled with your support, will drive long-lasting, positive change in our community.

Moving forward, we will keep you informed on this process. The quickest way to receive up-to-date information will be this page. You can read updates about the process and submit your questions or thoughts. We encourage you to visit often and be a part of this with us!
